BECK shot straight to #1 at the Box Offices on it's opening weekend, beating out Inception, as well asmany other great films!

Produced immaculately by one of the world's highly recognized film-companies, Toho Studios (Godzilla), Pemberton coincided with renowned director, Yukihiko Tsutsumi (20th Century Boys, 2008) as well as Tokyo's super-talents, young-stars Hiro Mizushima & Takeru Satoh. (Bothrespective television, film, and pop-culture super-fixtures). Brett Pemberton's character, "Eddie Lee," guitarist of the fictional group "The Dying Breed," helped spawn the original story line to what started as an immensely successful Manga (comic book), then Anime series (Televised Cartoon),then finally this live-action film. Pemberton was confidently cast as best-friend to the well known television & film star, Hiro Mizushima, whom plays as the lead character in the "BECK" film, Ryusuke "Ray" Minami. Pemberton's presence in the film, as well as story line, is essential.

Packing a punch into a multi-media career in the arts, Pemberton, as a musician opened for &/or toured alongside: Bad Religion, MxPx, Good Charlotte, Dredg, The Apex Theory, The Distillers,Vendetta Red, Janet Robin (The Lindsey Buckingham Band), Aiden, Kane Hodder, TheSchool Yard Heroes, Post Stardom Depression, The Lonely H, Alien Crime Syndicate, The Divorce, and many more. A powerful testament to thefragile & impermanent beauty that adventure often endows, this album mysteriously and epically casts it's melodies through cinematic, other-wordlyproductions via it's pop-rock epicenter, & it's dance/electroperiphery.

"Don't wake me up," a single spawned while searching the depths of two kindred souls, hits the heart strings of many. (Lundgren on guitar, Pemberton on vocals & production).
